Julian Serrano serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Som Real Estate. He is a retired CEO and COO for some of Mexico’s largest companies such as OXXO (FEMSA), Cuauhtémoc Moctezuma (FEMSA) and Akra (Alfa Group). He also runs a successful and long-standing private development and construction company in Monterrey.
Managing Partner
Sean serves as Managing Partner and Head of Investor Relations where he builds and nurtures key investor and stakeholder relationships and drives fundraising and investor relations efforts. Sean was a successful entrepreneur with multiple businesses in Mexico, Panama, and United States.
Patricio is a tax and corporate attorney, and a member of the Mexican Bar Association and the Corporate Lawyers Association Patricio has worked for international firms such as Deloitte and Ernst & Young (EY), specializing in strategic litigation and defense in tax-administrative matters. Patricio received his law degree from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
Managing Partner
La serves as Managing Partner and CTO. He is an accomplished US Air Force veteran, and leads with exceptional leadership skills. La has Top Secret security clearance and has worked with major companies such as Maxar, Lockheed Martin, and the Defense Intelligence Agency.
Investor Relations
Carlos serves as Investor Relations and manages Som’s Monterrey office. He has a dual MBA from University of San Diego and Tecnológico de Monterrey. He also runs a successful and long-standing private development and construction company in Monterrey.
Acquisitions
Chad is part of Som’s acquisition team, collaborating with the executive management to evaluate investment opportunities. As a licensed broker, he plays a crucial role in acquisitions and underwriting.
CPA and Financial Reporting
Frank, the accountant for Som since 1982, is both a CPA and lawyer, expertly handling financial reporting and tax-related tasks. He helped establish Meritage Wealth, a thriving wealth management firm located in Orange County, bringing extensive skills to his role.
Managing Partner and SVP of Operations
Ismael serves as Managing Partner and SVP of Operations. He manages daily operations and leverages his 30+ years of real estate experience to provide a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team.

Tom serves as Managing Partner and Principal with over 25 years of industry experience and a successful track record in senior positions at multiple firms. He has invested billions in residential and commercial real estate in the United States.
Director of Information Technology
Kon serves as Director of Information Technology with over 6 years of experience in implementing and maintaining large enterprise information technology infrastructure. Kon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from George Mason University. He’s an avid traveler visiting over 20 cities domestically and overseas in the last year.
Investor Relations
Enrique is part of the Investor Relations team in both the US and Mexico. Prior to this, he held the position of Vice President of Operations at a PE firm and also served as Head of International Relations for a payment services company.

Phil has over a decade of valuable experience in working with publicly traded homebuilders, an apartment REIT, and a private developer.
Financial Anaylst
Vy serves as an analyst in the real estate department. With a background in Quantitative Economics, Vy helps identify profitable investment opportunities by assisting in financial modeling, market research, graphic design, and marketing.
Business Analyst
With a background in Business Finance, Britney serves as an analyst for both the technology and real estate department. On the real estate side, she conducts research and analysis of properties, markets, and trends to identify potential opportunities for investment.

David serves as an Advisor at Som and the CEO and Founder of Strategic Insights, a top real estate consulting firm known for its data-driven strategy.
Greg serves as an Advisor for Som and is also a partner at Allen Matkins, a highly regarded law firm. He is a skilled business-minded lawyer and dealmaker, specializing in real estate development, construction, leasing (office, industrial, and retail), and joint venture transactions.
